Hundreds march in Madrid to defend Dominican sovereignty

Madrid (El NuevoDiario).- Hundreds of Dominicans on Sunday marched to defend Dominican Republic´ssovereignty and respect for its institutions, including enforcement of Law 169-14 which launched the National Planto Regularize Foreigners(PNRE).

Marking the 152ndanniversary of the Restoration when Dominican Republic revolted against itsannexation to Spain on August 16, 1863, Dominican organizations marched throughseveral streets, with the support of the Dominican Consulate in Madrid.

Among the picketslogans figured ´Regularization without interference; RD, Sovereign and Solidarity;Haiti is everyone’s problem and Respect for our immigration laws.
