Santo Domingo.– Theruling PLD party will hold a Delegates’ Assembly at the Volleyball Pavilion of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center this Sunday to proclaim thepresidential nomination of incumbent Danilo Medina Sánchez.
TheNational Electoral Commission, made up of Lidio Cadet, coordinator, AlejandrinaGermán, Carlos Pared Pérez, Danilo Díaz, Secretary for electoral affairs, FélixBautista, organizational secretary, Lupe Núñez, Armando García, José Izquierdo andRamón (Monchy) Rodríguez, informed that this event, scheduled for 10:00 a.m., will be attended by the main party authorities.
Itwill also be supervised by the Central Electoral Board (JCE), which will certify thevalidation of the proclamation.
