Back to school today, again

Santo Domingo.– After calling on all students,teachers and administrative staff in public and private schools to return toclasses today, the Ministry of Education announced that tomorrow, Tuesday September 1st, the retakes for the National Exams would take place,in the subjects of Social Sciences and Natural Sciences.

The exams were originally scheduled forlast Friday but had to be postponed together with regular school classesdue to tropical storm Erika.

Education Minister Carlos Amarante Baretsaid that the exams would start at 9:00 a.m. for eighth grade students and 3:00pm for adult students.

He assured that the schools were inoptimum condition to welcome back the students.
