US Embassy Consular Section to close Friday, Monday

Santo Domingo.- TheConsular Section of the US Embassy in Santo Domingo will close Friday, August 7and Monday August 10 for routine update of its Consular Information Database(CCD).

In that regard, the VisaService Center (VAC) located in Gallery 360 will close Friday, August 7 andSunday August 9.

The VAC will resumeoperations next Monday, August 10, while the Consular Section will reopenTuesday, August 11, both in normal schedule.

This update of thedatabase affects visa applications as the issue of the citizenship document, sothe appointments for tourist andresidence visas on those dates, as well as American citizen services will berescheduled. The Consular Section has already affected contacted theapplicants.
