Gasoline, diesel prices fall, gases unchanged

Santo Domingo.- TheIndustry and Commerce Ministry on Friday posted the fuel prices for the week fromAugust 22 to 28, when premium gasoline will cost RD$213.50, or RD$2.00 less andregular will cost RD$196.00, down RD$2.10 per gallon.

Premium diesel willcost RD$52.90; regular and diesel will sell for RD $144.90, both down RD$1.00;optimum diesel will cost RD$164.70, or RD $1.10 less; avtur will cost RD$100.80,down RD$2.00; kerosene will cost RD$127.10, or RD$2.10 less and fuel oil willcost RD$ 81.21, or RD$2.20 less per gallon.

Propane gas willremain at RD$77.70 per gallon, while natural gas remains at RD$29.44 per cubicmeter.

The Central Bank´s averageposted exchange rate of RD$45.15 per dollar was used to calculate all fuelprices.
