Dominican volleyball women head to Pre-Olympic

Michoacán, Mexico.- DominicanRepublic´s women’s volleyball team on Tuesday night secured a ticket to thePre-Olympic in January after an easy win over Mexico, its third consecutivevictory in the NORCECA Women Qualifiers, being staged in Mexico.

The Dominican women concludedthe tournamen´st first phase undefeated with three wins and no defeats andadvanced to the semifinals.

The team has scoredwins against Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago and Mexico. It also won over the USto head to the semifinal and the Pre-Olympic ranking.

The quarterfinalswill be played today while the semifinal will be on Thursday, organizers said.
