Shell, Ferrari pact 5 more years on Malaysia, Hungary wins

Santo Domingo.- Shelland Ferrari announced an extension of their commercial agreement for five years,and stems from a relationship that started with the FIA ??World Championship in1950.

Anglo-Dutch oilcompany even sponsored Enzo Ferrari as a driver in the late 1920s.

"Signing thisagreement is another step on the road to stability, and we´re delighted to beworking with Shell on an extended basis. Historically the engine is at the verycore of Ferrari, which means that everything we do in Shell works around ourheritage as an engine builder," Maurizio Arrivabene, head of the Italianteam said in a statement.

He lauded the work bythe brand fuel and their historical relationship: "This season Shell’swork has contributed to our victories in Malaysia and Hungary, which is proof notonly of a professional commitment but also the result of a great partnership."
