August prices climb 0.32%, paced by foods

Santo Domingo.- DominicanRepublic´s Central Bank on Monday said August price climbed 0.32% compared withJuly, with accumulated inflation during the first eight months at just 1.17%.

It said annualinflation, from August 2014 to August 2015, was 0.43%, “significantly below the3.13% verified at the end of the same month of 2014.”

On its website the CentralBank said 1.55% higher prices on foods and non-alcoholic beverages pacedinflation in August.
