Dominicans can get a Taiwan visa via the Web

Santo Domingo.- The Embassyof Taiwan on Monday announced that the Dominicans who request a Taiwanese visamust do so through the electronic applicationsystem (e-Visa) starting Jan. 12.

It said applicants canobtain visas electronically, after providing the necessary information and makepayment online on the websitehttps://visawebapp.boca.gov.tw/BOCA_MRVWeb/subroot/MRVWeb0_form.jsp.

"Once theapplication is approved, the e-Visa is sent by email to the applicant, whichmust print and present it to airport and customs officials in Taiwan at thetime of travel," said the embassy in a press release.

The e-Visa is aconfirmation that allows the bearer to enter the Republic of Taiwan.
