The Estrellas´ win in theDominican Winter Baseball playoffs held at Tetelo Vargas stadium in San Pedrode Macoris on Monday puts them in a tie for second place with Santo Domingo´sLeones, who lost to the Tigres, also from Santo Domingo, 4 to 3 yesterday.

The Toros fade awaywith a record of 2 wins to 5 losses.

Meanwhile the Tigres routedthe Leones 14 to 3 at Quisqueya stadium, to continue solid in first place.
