Dominican police announce new changes in Puerto Plata

Puerto Plata.- The National Police announced Friday the appointment of Brigadier General Cesar Sena Rojas as head of the Northern Regional Office, with headquarters in Puerto Plata.

National Police spokesman Maximo Baez said Sena Rojas is replacing Colonel Jose Santana Morillo.

"Colonel Frank Duran Mejia was also appointed this evening as the new Departmental Commander in Puerto Plata," Aybar Baez wrote in his Twitter account @MaximoBaezaybar.

Duran Mejia, who served as head of the National Office of Criminal Investigations, replaced Colonel Eufemio Escolastico Diaz.
