Sosúa organization raises funds to build long-yearned hospital

Sosua, Dominican Republic.- The SosúaSustainable Development Association (ADSS) on Wednesday handed the symboliccheck corresponding to a RD$100,000 donation to spur construction of a hospitalin Sosua township, Puerto Plata province.

The "Sosua – Sol & Arena"event hosted recently by ADSS president and business leader Andres GustavoPastoriza at Infiniti Blu raised the funds, and included the crafts bazaar andfashion show "Sosua – Sol & Arena Padre Bernardo Vásquez,” on behalfof the community, and as the creator of the "Hospital for Sosua" campaign.

In his keynote speech Pastorizasaid the contribution will go to the cause of acquiring a site for Sosua’s PublicHealth Center, “a work of vital importance which the region has demanded of thegovernment for several years."
