Prosecution asks to deny bail for ‘air cocaine’ Frenchman

Santo Domingo.- The Justice Ministry on Thursday asked a NationalDistrict judge to remand Frenchman Christophe Naudin to one year in prison toawait trial on various charges.

Lead prosecutor Milciades Guzman told the court that Naudinviolated Article 69 of the Criminal Procedure Code, which sets penalties for transnationalcriminal organizations.

In that regard Permanent Attention Office judge AlejandroVargas declared the complex case, while the prosecutor requested that Naudin besent to Najayo prison.

Earlier in the weekJustice Minister Francisco Dominguez also asked the court to deny bail to Naudin,claiming he poses a flight risk.
