Dominican president shares Easter message

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina urged Dominicans to take advantage of the Easter holiday season to reflect and share the joy of a family union blessed by God.

In a message to all Dominicans on the occasion of Easter, the head of state called for caution, moderation and respect for life during these days if traveling by road and invited everyone to follow the instructions of the Safety Operation Plan Easter 2016, which has been prepared to prevent situations that may endanger lives and properties.

In his message Medina said to be sure that the result of that moment of pause and reflect will lead citizens to reaffirm the need to be better every day and work together with dedication to achieve the goal of continuing building prosperity and welfare for our nation.
