Santo Domingo.- An unpresented four Dominican hurlers willpitch in the opening games for theirteams in the majors slated for April 4: Francisco Liriano, Edinson Volquez,Ervin Santana and Wily Peralta.
It will be the first time that Peralta, a Samana native, willbe starting pitcher in an opening game, in which he will face the San FranciscoGiants
While Liriano will open for the third time in a row for thePittsburgh Pirates, this time against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Volquez, of the Kansas City Royals will go against the NewYork Mets, while Santana, of the Baltimore Orioles will pitch against the WashingtonNationals.
