US entities to launch first Dominican gay Chamber of Commerce

Santo Domingo.- The lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgenderpeople (LGBT) Chamber of Commerce is set to open 10am Wednesday at the JWMarriot hotel in the capital, and promoted by the US Embassy.

It also has the support of the LGTB Chamber of the UnitedStates and the US Agency for International Development (USAID).

"The Embassy of the United States of America, theChamber of Commerce LGBT of the Dominican Republic (CCLGBTRD) and the Chamberof Commerce Gay and Lesbian United States of America (NGLCC), sponsored by theUnited States Agency for International Development (USAID); invites you tocover the opening of the LGBT Chamber of Commerce of the DominicanRepublic," says the statement to the media.
