Showers continue; flash flood warning for central region

Santo Domingo.- More of the recent showers and expected inthe coming days which have prompted the National Weather Office (Onamet) toissue flash flood warnings, rising rivers and landslide for the centralprovinces La Vega and Monseñor Noel.

It also maintains alerts on urban flooding for severalnorthern and eastern provinces.

Onamet forecasts cloudy skies and scattered showers, as thesoutheast wind and a trough drag humidity across the country.

It said the downpours over several regions withthunderstorms will continue Wednesday through Thursday, with temperatureranging from a high of 31°C, to a low of 20°C.
