After decades of use abroad, Dominicans can pump their own gas

Santo Domingo.- Despite its widespread use in the US fordecades, a local gas station offers savingsof 10 pesos per gallon of gasoline or regular diesel if the customer pumps thefuel.

The number of customers has jumped thanks to the noveloffer by the Nativa station on Castellanos Av., at the Luperon sector of theNational District.

A motorist need only to pull up to the pump, and then paythe cashier for the amount of fuel they want to buy.
