Road through Central Mountains nearly finished

Santo Domingo.- The Cruce de Ocoa-Piedra Blanca Road Committeeon Tuesday hailed the imminent completion and opening of the second stage ofthe "Padre Luis Quinn Ecological Corridor," the second span of the RanchoArriba-Juan Adrian-Piedra Blanca road (central).

They thanked president Danilo Medina and Public Works ministerGonzalo Castillo for having finished the road, which they affirm will help adjacentcommunities develop and progress.

They also congratulated producers, merchants, the transportsector and social, community and professional organizations in Ocoa, Monseñor Noeland Peravia provinces for sticking together for more than four years to successfullyachieve the road through the Central Mountains.
