Dominican think tank, New York’s CUNY pact academic cooperation

NY.- The Global Foundation for Democracy and Development(FUNGLODE) and the School of Journalism of the City University of New York (CUNY)on Thursday agreed to collaborate on interinstitutional academic areas.

Former president and FUNGLODE founder Leonel Fernandezsigned the agreement with Stephen Dougherty, CUNY Dean of the Graduate Schoolof Journalism, which aims to promote and develop opportunities for academiccollaboration between the two institutions, mainly to grant facilities toDominican journalists to attend courses in the various areas of communication.

Among the areas of collaboration figure studies in digitaljournalism, audiovisual techniques, and social networking strategies.
