Power companies guarantee energy supply during elections

Santo Domingo.- The president of Dominican Republic’spower companies grouped in ADIE on Wednesday said its members guarantee thesupply of energy during the May 15 general elections.

Roberto Herrera said the power companies have enough fueland logistics to assured there’s no interruption of service on that day.

He said the government has no outstanding debt with ADIEand economic relations are normal so far, for which they can guarantee theeffective service on May 15.

After a visit to the Central Electoral Board, Herrera reiteratedthe power companies’ guarantee to supply all the energy needed.
