Dominican Republic President breezes to reelection

Santo Domingo.- As of 2:40am Danilo Medina had 62% of the votes to Luis Abinader’s 35, with 42.38% of votes counted.

The Central Electoral Board’s first bulletin places thefollowing percentages for the presidential candidates, with 343, 979 votes, toAbinader’s 196,652 votes, or less than 5% of the total ballots cast.
