US envoy congratulates Dominican leader on election win

Santo Domingo.- US ambassador James W. Brewster on Thursdaycongratulated president Danilo Medina on his reelection victory, and stated hiswillingness to continue working with the country to the chief executive.

The diplomat however declined comment on the situation of theJCE, which is still counting votes.

Brewster spoke after donating to the Public Health Ministry2,000 test kits to detect the zika virus, dengue and chikungunya in blood,urine and amniotic fluid.
