Scattered showers, thunderstorms Friday, Saturday

Santo Domingo.- A weak trough over the Mona Passage and theeast-southeast wind will bring scattered showers with thunderstorms Friday afternoonand early evening in some provinces.

The National Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts scattered showersmostly over the central and eastern provinces.

Onamet said the prevailing wind will also bring scatteredshowers through Saturday, over on the Northeast, Southeast and Central Mountains,adding that temperatures will be seasonably high.
