Two bodies found could uncover major crime ring

Juan Dolio, Dominican Republic.- The decomposed bodies oftwo of seven people, mostly drivers of minibuses whom had vanished in the lastfour months in San Pedro, La Romana and Hato Mayor, were found by theauthorities in a mass grave, where authorities believe there are more bodieslocated by two of four suspects apprehended in connection with the case.

The Justice Ministry and the National Police continue thesearch at the site Monday night, after the bodies were pulled out of a 60 feet pitin an abandoned house, where relatives of the missing for months arrive in the macabrescene.

Local media report that the finding could expose one of thecruelest networks of thieves and murderers in the east region ever, with links tostolen properties and vehicles.
