President must recover the population’s credibility: Prominent priest

Santo Domingo.-Catholic Youth Ministry coordinator, priest Luis Rosario said Friday that thebiggest challenge that lies ahead for Danilo Medina’s new administration is togain the population’s credibility.

He said it’shard to believe in a government whose president, "spent three yearsrepeating that he wouldn’t see reelection and ultimately does it.”

The prelatecalled for this to be the last traumatic electoral process, and in his view shouldmake the country learn not to repeat the errors in the future.

Rosario,speaking to present the Youth Ministry’s group exhibit "For Love ofLife" which will be open until July 6, acknowledged that all the positionsat stake made the elections complicated.
