Flash flood warnings continue for northwest, west

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) on Mondaycontinued its flash flooding, swelled rivers, and landslide warnings fornorthwestern and western provinces.

It said a trough and the east wind will bring cloudiness anddownpours over most of the country Monday afternoon and evening.

Onamet adds that Tropical Storm Bonnie is now tropicaldepression, located around 45 kilometers west-northwest of Charleston, SouthCarolina.
