A record 6 Dominican pitchers set to hurl Tuesday

Santo Domingo.- Six Dominicans are set to take the pitcher’smound in the majors Tuesday, including a duel between Alfredo Simon and Danny Salazar.Simon (1-3) and Salazar (3-2) will meet at 6:10pm in the game where theCincinnati Reds visit the Cleveland Indians.

At 7:05pm meanwhile, the Orioles hurler Ubaldo Jimenez(2-3) will face the Seattle Mariners in Baltimore, while at the same hour innearby Pittsburgh, Juan Nicasio (3-3) will face the Atlanta Braves, who visitthe Pirates.

At 8:15pm the Red Sox will face the Kansas City Royals andYordano Ventura (3-2); Michael Pineda (1-4) is also among the record Dominicanhurlers to pitch in one day, when the New York Yankees visit the Arizona D’backsat 9:40pm.
