Paris.- Dominican tennis player Víctor Estrella Burgos secured a first victoryfor the country at the Roland Garros tournament Tuesday after defeatingUkraine’s Illya Marchenko 7-5, 6-4, 6-3 in 2 hours and 26 minutes.
Estrella Burgos, 35 and 87th in the ATP world rankings,now goes on to play Hyeon Chung of South Korea and Quentin Halys of France inthe second round.
