Showers, flash flood alerts continue

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet)forecasts downpours with thunderstorms Thursday, from the humidity dragged bythe prevailing southeast wind.

It said most provinces can expect showers.

Onamet said a front will increase cloudiness with downpoursFriday afternoon and evening over all regions except the Southwest, adding thatthe alerts continue for flash flooding, swelled rivers and mudslides.
