Santo Domingo business exhibit with 100+ companies to feature Taiwan

Santo Domingo.- The Santo Domingo Commerce and Production Chamber(CCPSD) on Wednesday hosted the second "HUB Chamber Santo Domingo" exhibition,which seeks to become the region’s most important venue with representativesfrom more than one 100 companies, local and foreign exhibitors, with Taiwan as guestcountry.

Taiwan is one of Dominican Republic’s most important commercialpartners with trade of US$136 million, and whose companies in the DominicanRepublic have investments surpassing US$140 million.

The event, that willbring together entrepreneurs, suppliers, buyers and contractors, aims topromote business connections through the interaction among representatives fromthe various sectors, which also benefit the exhibiting companies with afavorable dynamic platform on a surging nationaleconomy and promote trade with participating countries.

“This multisector corporate meeting is an ideal opportunityto generate business exchanges between local and international entrepreneursand to connect suppliers and purchasers in a favorable space for negotiation,with the participation of representatives of sectors such as agriculture andagribusiness, conventions and business, information technology andcommunication, energy, supply chain and logistics, services and security,” saidCCPSD president Jochi Vicente.
