Dominican Republic again takes Latin beauty crown

SantoDomingo.- Former miss Dominican Republic, Clarissa Molina on Sunday won the crown of Univision’s realityshow "Nuestra Belleza Latina VIP" (Our Latin beauty), which this yearbrought together the first finalists from previous competitions.

Molinabecomes the second Dominican to win the pageant, with a prize of US$200,000, includinga car and a one-year contract with Univision.

Molina, 24, won53% of the votes, and was crowned by her compatriot Francisca Lachapelle,winner of the of the 2015 contest.

"I haveno words to thank the public’s support, I will not disappoint all those peoplewho trusted me and brought me until here," Molina said.
