Trough, tropical wave bring downpours Thurs., showers Friday

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) onThursday forecast continuing downpours from the East-Southeast wind, tropicalwave # 4 arriving from the south, and a trough nearing the Caribbean coast.

It said nearly all provinces can expect moderate to heavy showerswith thunderstorms.

For Friday Onamet forecasts overcast skies with scatteredshowers mostly in the afternoon and evening over most regions, except thesoutheast.

It adds that most regions are under a flash flood and landslide warning.
