US Embassy to host Gay Pride Month, film forum events

Santo Domingo .- The US Embassy on Wednesday announced activitiesin June to mark Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex Pride (LGBTI) month,while reaffirming its commitment equality and several events to celebrate humandiversity and inclusion worldwide.

Among the activities, the embassy will host with thesupport of other diplomatic missions and collaboration by the Cinema Agency, afilm series on LGBTI pride.

This activities are set from June 2 and 8 in the CinematecaDominicana.

In separate emailed statements, the US Embassy alsoannounced a forum on films in Santo Domingo State University’s (UASD) Santiago campuson June 16.

It said there will be a question and answer session withspecial guests after the screening.
