Scattered showers, high temps continue

Santo Domingo.- The scattered showers will continue in the afternoonuntil early evening, from a tropical wave over the central portion of thecountry, the National Weather Office forecast Wednesday

It said the eastern, central and southern provinces canexpect some precipitation until tomorrow Thursday, when the tropical waveleaves the forecast area. “The upper-level trough will remain southwest overthe Caribbean Sea, resulting in scattered showers with thunderstorms during theafternoon and evening to the Northeast, southeast, southwest, border and theCentral Mountains.”

Onamet adds that the temperatures will range from a high of34°C to a low of 23ºC.
