Father’s Day promotions inspire spending

Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Republic will celebrate Father’s Day Sunday, a tradition which serves to jump start sales that usually sag during the mid summer weeks.

In the Dominican Republic the holiday dates several decades, with commerce eager to boost sales from shoppers looking to give dad that special gift. This year shoppers set out since Friday to find more and better offers.
