Dominican visa services resume

Santo Domingo.-Foreign Relations Minister Miguel Vargas Maldonado issued a communiqué onMonday instructing all Dominican consular missions to resume their servicesfor granting visas to applicants wishing to travel to the country.

Vargas explained that themeasure had been taken to increase securitymechanisms in the visa issuing process.

“They are beingissued again now. We wanted to take measures to avoid any type of situation”, he said.
