Pawa Dominicana starts Santo Domingo-Port-au-Prince flights

Santo Domingo.- The airline Pawa Dominicana on Monday announcedthe start of the Santo Domingo-Port-au-Prince route, with eight flights perweek on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Pawa PR Alexander Barrios said the flights are a new optionfor passengers who travel weekly to and from Haiti by air. “It will be a boost totourist flow and exchange of trade between the two countries which will bejoined on both sides of the island.”

"We’re very happy and we have every reason tocelebrate. This month we celebrate our first year of operations and the incorporationof this new route, as well as the recent expansion of our offer flights toCuracao and Antigua, not only reaffirm our commitment to convert Santo Domingo intothe Hub of the Caribbean, and provides greater and more effective connectivityto the region, but also continue to expand the tourist advantages andopportunities for trade in our destinations," Barrios said.
