Electoral Board to state position over cancelled US visas on Monday

Santo Domingo.- The Central Electoral Board (JCE) on Fridayannounced a session for Monday to state its position over the cancelling of USvisas of the institution’s president Roberto Rosario.

In a press conference JCE spokesman Felix Reyna said that willbe the only issue to be addressed at the meeting. "The entire membership feelsthat because it’s a special case, they want to meet and be apprised in a dispassionatesession and in a calm manner, and make a decision."

Reyna said the meeting is set for 11am at the JCE, and sinceit’s a topic that involves its president, Rosario preferred not to be presentand appointed his deputy, Juan Moreno Gautreaux.
