Dominicans in the US back ‘fair’ call to vote for Clinton

New York.- Dominican living in upperManhattan on Thursday expressed support for vice president Margarita Cedeño’s callfor her compatriots in the US to vote for Hillary Clinton in next Tuesday’s elections.

Quoted by outlet elcaribe.com.do, they say Cedeño’scall reflects her good will and interest in protecting Dominicans living in theUS.

In a poll in the neighborhoods of WashingtonHeights and Inwood, scores of Dominicans agreed that the vice president’s call is"exclusively to Hispanics, especially Dominicans," and neither for Americans, nor the American people in general.

The potential voters residing in the mostdensely Dominican enclave in the US warn that if elected, the Republicancandidate would deport 11 million Hispanics, including tens of thousands ofDominicans, "so it is fair to support Hillary."
