Rigoberta Menchú visits Medina

Santo Domingo.- Nobel Peace Prize laureateRigoberta Menchú on Friday visited president Danilo Medina int the NationalPalace.

The Guatemalan indigenous leader is in the DominicanRepublic to participate as keynote speaker at the First International Congressof Women of Success, held from Nov. 4 to 6 at the Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana.

Menchú arrived in the Dominican capital Wednesday,when she began a busy schedule of meetings before she departs to the conferencein Punta Cana (east), the Presidencysaid in a media release.
