October prices climb 0.30%, paced by transport

Santo Domingo.- Dominican Republic’s CentralBank on Thursday said October prices climbed 0.30% compared with September, whileaccumulated inflation from January to October stood at 0.65%.

"Annualinflation, measured from October 2015 to October 2016, stood at 0.91%,remaining below the lower limit of the target established in the MonetaryProgram of 4.0% (± 1.0% )," the Central Bank said on its website.

It adds that transport (1.40%) and housing(1.23%) paced the increase in October prices.
