Scattered showers, high surf, mild temperatures

Santo Domingo.- A north-northeast wind willbring scattered showers over the central valley and northeastern coast, theNational Weather Office (Onamet) forecast Wednesday.

It said there’s little chance of rainfall overthe south and southwest and will continue through Friday.

"As for the maritime conditions, theyremain dangerous on the Atlantic coast so the recommendation for the fragileand small boats to remain in port continues," Onamet said.

It also warns of high surf along theCaribbean coast and in Samana Bay, adding that temperatures for most of thecountry will range from a low of 17ºC, to a high of 29ºC.
