State-owned bank heads to Europe Tourism Fair

Santo Domingo.- Dominican Republic’s State-ownedbank Banreservas will participate in the37th annual International Tourism Fair (FITUR), one of Europe’s most important tradevenues.

The event held in Madrid last year attracted morethan 231,000 visitors and around 10,000 companies in the sector.

Several Banreservas executives headed by generalmanager Simon Lizardo will hold business meetings with investors from tourismand financial companies, during the conclave from January18 to 22.

It’s the financial institution’s third participationin the event that features promotion of the Dominican Republic as a tourism investmentdestination.

Representatives from 160 countries and morethan 4,200 media outlets attended FITUR last year.
