Gasoline, diesel climb, gases unchanged

Forget climbing fuel prices, climb Pico Duarte instead

Santo Domingo.- The Industry and Commerce Ministry on Friday posted the fuel prices for the week from May 20 to 26, when premium gasoline will cost RD$212.80, and regular will cost RD$197.70, both RD$2.00 more per gallon.

Regular diesel will cost RD$142.00, or RD$1.00 more; optimum diesel will cost RD$157.60, an increase of RD$2.00; fuel oi will cost RD$95.05, or RD$3.00 more; avtur will continue at RD$105.90; as well as kerosene at RD$130.00 per gallon.

Propane continues at RD$99.50 per gallon, and natural gas remains unchanged at RD$28.97 per cubic meter.

The Dominican Republic Central Bank’s posted average exchange rate of RD$47.45 was used to calculate all fuel prices.
