Downpours over most regions starting Wed.

Santo Domingo.- The downpours forecast for Wed. and tomorrow will continue over most regions and the Central Mountain range, for which the Emergency Operations Center (COE) issued flash flood warnings.

It also issued landslide warnings and urged residents in high-risk areas near rivers and streams to take precautions.

For its part the National Weather Office, forecasts moderate to heavy downpours with thunderstorms, associated with an upper level trough over the country and a tropical wave approaching from southeastern Puerto Rico.
