Santo Domingo.-  The Justice Ministry on Sunday said interrogations will continue today Monday into the case of the Brazilian plane-maker Embraer’s admitted payment of US$3.5 million in bribes to secure the sale contract for eight Super Tucano aircraft.

In a statement, the Justice Ministry said the detained Dominican Air Force (FAD) Col. Carlos Piccini will be questioned, accompanied by his lawyers, in the Office of the Anticorruption Prosecutor (PEPCA) at 10am.

Piccini is being held in connection with the graft case in which former Defense minister Pedro Rafael Peña was placed under house arrest, along with businessmen Daniel Aquino Hernández and Daniel Aquino Méndez, all charged with money laundering and other felonies in the US$94.0 aircraft deal.
