Amet Aguilas stop bikers

Santo Domingo.- As it had warned on Friday, the Metropolitan Transit Authority’s (Amet) Aguila (eagle) Unit detained 200 motorcyclists on Monday, the first full day of operations.

On Tuesday Amet cops continue at the checkpoints set up at some of the entrances and exits of tunnels and overpasses along the Kennedy and 27 de Febrero avenues.

However some drivers of buses and trucks continue to mock the cops by driving on the passing lanes.
