US Embassy hosts a hootenanny Independence Day

Santo Domingo.- The United States Embassy in Santo Domingo celebrated America’s 241st Independence Day, in a gathering held in its gardens hosted by Chief of Staff, Patrick Dunn and his wife, Meltem Ercan-Dunn.

The event, which was set in the theme of a country picnic and barbecue, began with the hoisting of the flags by the Embassy’s Marines Corps honor guard, followed by the national anthems of both countries.
