Miami (EFE) .- Dominican slugger Robinson Canó’s solo blast in extra innings earned him the title of hero in the Major League All-Star Game, where he took the  MVP honor.

The Seattle Mariners second baseman sealed the American League victory in the tenth inning, when he slammed a pitch in the tenth inning at the 88th All-Star Game played at Miami’s Marlins Park.

Cano connected a pitch from Chicago Cubs reliever Wade Davis, to secure the American League win.
